We are looking for a bright individual seeking an entry level iOS Development opportunity to play a key role in the development of our mobile health apps. In collaboration with our team of developers, product managers, designers, and marketers, you have the opportunity to work on our Sleep Watch and Instant Heart Rate applications used by millions worldwide. The right candidate has what it takes to succeed in programming iOS and/or watchOS applications in Swift. You believe in lifelong learning and are attracted to working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining new functionality and technologies on Apple mobile platform applications (e.g. on iOS and watchOS)
  • Identifying, triaging, and fixing Apple mobile platform application bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities
  • Working with designers, developers, product managers, and engineering managers to achieve business and product objectives for the Apple mobile platform applications
  • Testing, verifying, and validating Apple mobile platform application functionality and performance
  • Creating and updating Apple mobile platform application documentation
  • Integrating Apple mobile platform applications with front-end iOS SDKs (e.g. HealthKit, etc.) and back-end APIs
  • Utilizing leading development principles in Swift, and applying industry best practices
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on team pull requests
  • Developing, maintaining, and running test scripts and unit tests for quality assurance validations
  • Engaging and collaborating with other developers to address and solve engineering issues
Your Skills & Qualifications
  • 1+ years’ experience and in developing mobile apps on Apple platforms (e.g. iOS or watchOS)
  • Demonstrable portfolio of Apple mobile platform application work(s)
  • Familiary with XCode IDE
  • Competent in Git and GitHub version control software
  • Familiary with developing using iOS databases (e.g. SwiftData, Realm, Core Data, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web API interfacing (e.g. RESTful APIs) and third-party libraries to achieve application functionality
  • Ability to perform and automate unit tests
